The Game:
The Looking Glass is a game about a young girl named Irene who finds she can meld through her mirror and come out on the other side to the Mirror World; a place that is composed of mirror images of her bedroom, her apartments, and her home town. Not only that, but the world itself is filled with many interesting sub worlds. The laws of reality are warped in the Mirror World, and as such, Irene can run across bizarre locations, interesting and intriguing characters and animals, and aquire her own abilities by finding them scattered throughout the worlds.
Yes, there is a plot planned out, including many interactive elements and scenarios. Unlike most fangames, I plan on making this one very different, while still keeping the free-range, explorative feel of Yume Nikki.

About the Creator:
I think I first played Yume Nikki close to a year ago, around December. I was floored by the game and quickly discovered Uboachan and its fangames board. By pure impulse I jumped to make my own fangame and maintained it up until March of 2011. I dropped it for a while, but I am BACK thanks to many incredible people!
This is a one-man project (save for a great friend of mine helping beta and find resources), and many basic things such as some music, spriting, and chipsets are hand-made. I do borrow other chipsets, backgrounds, music and sound, but I make credit where credit is due and I never intend on using this game for profit; this is a fun free game for everyone to play!
Unfortunately I am not very good with music and sound effects (I am not a composer and I do not play instruments), so it’s been a struggle to try and keep up with games such as .flow, Answered Prayers, Yume Nisshi, etc.
